One Time Free 15 Minute Consultation
Dr. Foster allows a free 15-minute consultation as an opportunity to meet her, and for those curious about Naturopathic Medicine and whether it is beneficial for them. She will answer general questions, but will not make a diagnosis nor will she provide any form of treatment. This will be reserved for an official first office visit.
First Office Visit
The initial office visit is 60-90 minutes and is a comprehensive one on one
consultation with Dr. Foster. She will work to elicit a complete picture of your
present condition as well as review your medical history, your past and current
health concerns, along with your nutrition and lifestyle. Dr. Foster understands
certain health concerns can be difficult to express, thus she listens to her
patients in a safe and relaxed medical environment. She may perform pertinent
physical exam to further learn about your medical health. Laboratory or other
diagnostic tests may be requested to assist in evaluating your condition. She
will then discuss treatment options, and together you will develop a plan that
addresses your immediate needs, as well as your future goals for optimizing your
overall health. To better help you, please print and fill out the New Patient
Intake Form and bring it with you to your first appointment.
Return Office Visits
Return visits are usually 1-2 weeks after the first visit and last 15-45 minutes. Dr. Foster follows up with you in order to monitor your healing progress. If any lab results are available, they will be reviewed at this time and appropriate treatments are given. This visit(s) is an opportunity to fine tune and individualize treatment protocols. This is also a good time for you to raise any concerns or introduce information that may have not been covered during the previous visit.
Phone Consultation
Dr. Foster offers phone consultations for her patients. These visits allow patients to have their questions or concerns to be addressed without an office visit to interrupt their busy schedules, or if they are not within travel distance. However, if a physical exam is required, diagnosis and treatment will not be provided until an office visit is scheduled.
Acute Office Visits
Acute visits are non-emergency concerns, but the patient needs immediate attention, for example, cold, flues, ear infections, diarrhea, bladder infections, etc. This visit concentrates only on the acute concern and the patient can expect a physical exam, lab testing, and usually treatment at that time.
